Hi All,

we got rained out on Sunday and checked out Mackey's Lookout area, which looks like it would be very much worth the effort of fixing up (i.e adding some bolts to the existing routes with the permission of Geoff Gledhill, the first ascentionist of many of the routes).

We also found the guide a little confusing initially - the first of the big slabs you come to (which is pretty big) is roughly 200m before the main cliff, where the waterfall / river is. The rock quality looked excellent, and there also looked to be a lot of potential for good introductory routes.

All it needs now is someone willing to put in the effort and take the financial hit for the work.

Would anyone have any ideas on fundraising for this work?
