One thing is for sure this year however, it is far colder than previous winters at the same tme. That can mean only one thing: ice ice ice. However, as people have said, since about 2000 percipitation and thus snow have been on a reducing trend. Kaj, keep watch on this forum if you want to come out. Within 4 weeks I'll be heading up Buller, Bogong (Vic's highest peak) and then back for the annual pilgramage to Blue lake either the first or the second weekend of August Bring on the cold, wintery weather I say.
