Captain,
If you’re listening here’s my 2 cents on Castle Hill.
It’s more than bouldering. It’s a spiritual experience. The place is like a bubble in the earths crust. It explodes limestone through green grass. Your biggest worry at Castle Hill is getting sheep shit off the tips of your climbing shoes. You don’t have to pay for camping and the climbing is great. Every day new problems will open to you. You don’t need a guide, just timing.
Wander through Cave Stream on a rest day or bust up another snowy peak with the Kias’. A month at Castle Hill will pass like a month at Arapiles and in the wintertime the friction is the best. If you approach the place with a free mind the doors will open and the barn doors will close.
