The first ascentionist might care to elaborate but from the base it looked as though you wouldn't need much big gear - you can see a thin crack at the start (beside the tree stump), and then another about halfway up (just below the diagonal branch). So perhaps you could just thrash from one to the next. It's steeper than this photo might suggest.
