About 10 or 15 years back as part of the VCC, I got in touch with the family who own the land above Pulpit Rock and they were (at that time) happy to have climbers access the area from their property providing it wasn't on total fire ban days and that a phone call was made to let them know. The VCC may or may not still have those contact details. I'll see if I have the email trail archived somewhere.
