I was up at the Bungles two weeks ago. Yep - it's bloody hot! At least it is reasonably cool during the night though.

Initial reports from the office lady told me that the water in the tank may have been infected (?) and even emptied out, so we hauled a tonne of water up (good training right? at least we did the walk in at night) to find that there was plenty of water in the tank and it seemed quite alright. Still used puritabs though, just in case.

Had a climb at Blackmans Bluff beore leaving too - it took a little while to find the climbs as we headed directly up to the cliffline then followed it around before I found the climbs (one was INITIALLED! in the BUNGLES! it was Through the Windscreen from memory).
