I can provide my own answer here, after asking the question at a few different locations: Apparently, Derek Thatcher and Zac Vertrees climbed the line left of the shimmering by starting up Aesthetic Images, and traversing hard left (Crossing the shimmering) to gain the New Line at its first bolt (the bolt is quite far off the ground) at about Grade 29. So far I'm not aware if this new route has a name. Regards, - Paul
