About 8 hours north of Bogota is a cool sport climbing area called Mesa de los santos, approx 50km outside Bucaramanger. I'd certainly recommend it as a climbing destination and just overall cool remote area to hang out. There is a variety of stuff starting from 6a through to 7/8+ We stayed at a hostel Hostal Sol de La Mojarra which was fantastic. Not deluxe 5 star but comfy and basic. Its a 30-40min walk up to the crag from here each day. They were very helpful in giving us directions on how to get there via buses and taxis. Have fun!
