What sleeping gear are you bringing? There's a nice flat bivi ledge for one at the base, about 3m off the ground on the opposite side of the mini-gully to the start of Ozy. (I.e. From where you'd belay the first pitch, turn around to face the wall opposite the start of Ozy and scramble up a few meters.) You could probably also find a hammock placement somewhere a little downhill from the start of Ozy, but in general the ground there is extremely sloping and wet and not something you'd want to sleep on.
On the route, Big Grassy has room for two hammocks. I haven't tried sleeping on a mat, but I suspect the two ledges below Big Grassy would offer better (flatter) sleeping than BG itself, if you had mats rather than hammocks.
Also, keep in mind that the descent to the base of Angels will be pretty bad if you don't like walking down hills. But at least you only need to carry a single day's food and water on top of your climbing gear! |
