As a local (blow in pom of course), I don't see what the big deal is? The insular peninsular is already busy - what difference is 12 extra tourists for the weekend going to make? Other than a good income for NPWS to take good care of the place. It's NIMBYism aint it? I was up there on Thursday shunting and there was a group of bush care guys hard at work which was good to see. I think this is also about the cottages on station beach too. They are in a bit of a bad way (termites, rot, asbestos) - just like most of the older buildings here..
