'Fellow climbers, the following is an update on Mt. Boyce access. Sydney Rail locked the gate at the Mt. Boyce access point, because they are going to be storing equipment behind the gate for the next number of months. Track upgrades in the form of signal upgrades are scheduled for the region. While customer service at Sydney Rail has been helpful in sharing this information, establishing direct contact with and two-way communication with the individuals responsible for the gate closure has proven elusive. We have been told only that the project manager and contractor for the project will be scheduling a public meeting some time in the future. We are sorry that we cannot provide more or better information at this time. We will keep working this issue and do our best to bring this matter to satisfactory closure. Robert, SRC, Accesss Chair'
