I think the access to all the awesome stuff in the valley far outweighs the effort of dealing with the tourons. Squamish is pretty awesome for medium sized walls, some awesome granite to be had. It gets pretty crowded on the classics too though. Tassie has plenty of awesome adventures to be had that get your skills up for walls and adventurous climbing spots. Well worth a summer trip.
