Carn old man. When he says "below it" he means below the anchor. He's talking about Marsupial Smear & the climb next to it that's almost identical... The CoD anchor is actually better used for those climbs due to the wandery nature of the crack. Of course - back in your day you didn't have anchors! You would fill a shoe box with lead you brought from the mines that you worked at 8 days a week and twice on Sundees.
