Planned burning Grampians National Park – Friday 12th – Sunday 14th 2014
This weekend, DEPI and Parks Victoria are planning to carry out a planned burn in a southern area of the Grampians National Park.
The following planned burn is expected to be ignited:
1. Grampians - Serra Range Heath (846ha) - burn unit bounded by Henham Track, Serra Road and Beehive Track
When will the planned burn be carried out?

DEPI and Parks Victoria can only carry out a burn when conditions such as weather and fuel moisture are suitable. The decision to proceed is made on the day of the burn, usually in the morning, following monitoring of weather conditions and local fuel moisture levels.
