Major bridge repairs to the Cooks Mill road bridge will be undertaken from Monday the 2nd of December until December 13th inclusive, There will be no road access to Cooks Mill camping area from the north during this time. Road access to Sugarlaof and Jawbones areas will only be available from the southern entrance via the following route: Marysville-Buxton Rd, Mount Margaret Rd, Cerberus Rd, Sugarloaf Saddle, Jawbones Carpark - and you could continue down to Cooks Mill if you wanted to camp.

Little River Walking Track will provide walking access to Cooks Mill from Neds Gully.

The logging of the private pine block adjoining Cooks Mill will recommence in early January. During this time Little River Walking Track will remain closed and Little River Rd and Cooks Mill will be used for access by logging trucks.
