Very late Sunday arvo, paddled a playboat 7.5km from Bents Basin to Blaxland's Crossing at Wallacia before running back to car. Worthwhile. Once.
Unremarkable, actually after first 300m of dodging stout Casuarinas - but certainly not for beginners. One would have would have an absence of control were you be on a lilo - and be cold. Was probably moving at about 2m/sec without paddling at times. River grade at that level is 1.
