Last year word was that climbing there had been banned by the authorities. I think it was due to concern over the impact on the environment, although the people we spoke to were vague about the reason?
People we spoke to said that they were unaware of this during planning, and only found out once they arrived. They had an uncomfortable week trying to climb under the radar at a limited number of crags, trying to dodge the officials (rangers?).
Sounds like it is an awesome place to climb though, definitely worth looking into.
