I recently bought the new Simon Carter calender for 2013 and the front cover image is of the climb checkpoint charlie. I can't find it anywhere in guidebooks or forums except on the crag.com where it is said to be on the East wall of the three sisters.
Is this area part of the climbing ban for 3 sisters?
If not, does anyone have any info (Access/pitches etc)...
If it is part of the ban, don't tell the sparkies

Hi

Thanks for getting the calendar, I hope you enjoy it.

The route is not on the East Wall, is on the Eastern Bloc which is a seperate buttress off the far end of the Sisters. I've been told it's not covered by the ban. Best keep a low profile though. ;-)

It's decribed in the Rock Climbs in the Upper Blue Mtountains guidebook, 199?

Incidentally, wasn't that ban supposed to be temporary?
