Well, must say having wandered about in crampons trying not to fall into a crevase etc the Machame route rocked!! I took a mate who was addicted to her blackberry and had never walked more than 4 hours in her life and she loved it hardly ever complained a word. Sometimes its not the amazing things people do it the personal struggles and fight they put put up to achieve a dream. Tonight i sit in awe of a mate who followed me, trusted met and listed and got up in 6.5 hours . Happy Days !!!!!
