But since Burnley reopened, and until at most a couple of weeks ago, they were on from when I arrived (5.30-6am) until it was light. Ask the two crazy Euro guys who were living at Burnley for three weeks. Why the change?
'Um, really? I'm with ODH on this (I'm not a morning person). Is there really such a demand for pre-dawn bouldering? In winter...'
Honestly, no, there isn't. A few other people show up sometimes between 7-8.30am, but it's usually light by then.
'If you're serious, get a petition or something, I'd need some numbers to take to the elecy bill payers! (Parks Victoria). And no promises :)'
I am serious, but it'd be a pretty short petition. And if ODH's calculations are correct (and to answer your question ODH, three days a week. Why? Too much? Not enough? Both? C'mon...) then, yeah, it wouldn't be a very reasonable request to PV. 'So Parks, there's this one guy who's a real morning person, and he feels like an idiot bouldering with a headlamp, so could you cover an extra $300 for Burnley?'
But thanks for responding, and the work you do keeping Burnley open and all.
Cheers,
Will
