The lights have always gone off at midnight, they just had some trouble with the timer so they were going off at 7pm for a few days. That's what they fixed, so it's back to midnight.

Um, really? I'm with ODH on this (I'm not a morning person). Is there really such a demand for pre-dawn bouldering? In winter...
