Bouldering at the Jardines' property outside Queenstown is great. Not as good as Castle Hill, but still great. Better fun than Wanaka routes imo.

Cascade Saddle is meant to be rad. I walked the first part of it, and you're meant to get sweet views of Aspiring from the saddle proper. 3 days I think, but stiff as far as bush walks go.

Depends on the walk. The 'Great Walks' are hutted. I recomment the Kepler Track.
