Just was at Wave Rock. It's a pretty big granite area beyond the little Wave section. I scoped about 40-50 boulders around, probably a few days worth of climbing if you cleaned it up. But it's a pretty friable fedlspathic grantite, where a lot of flakes will probably snap. I easily broke a hold off of just playing around, which ensued giggles from tourists.
You could get away from the tourist trekking around and clean up some problems if you wanted.
All around the monolith there is potential for heaps of slab short-wall bouldering with slanty landings (bleh).
Also I saw heaps of boulders along the Brookton Hwy, west of Brookton, on farmers land. Could be plenty of fun there.
Most of that is all irrelevant because no one would really travel to climb there regularly unless you were working with the mining and exploration east of there and you brought a boulder pad for extra PPE.
