Have heard that some Newey locals have put a few lines up here and there on the Buckets since the guide, but nothing to substantial. Main problem is that pretty much all of the rock is on private land. The rock looks ok from what iv'e been on, but crumbly in sections. Would be worth having a good scout around after talking to some of the owners. In the past some of them were pretty keen to get climbers up there to boost tourism in the area! The rock is similar to granite, but no buffalo. Barrington Tops has pretty much zero rock
