Yep saw it(and smelt it) Friday arvo... >Before you ask, nope, don't know how he met his fate, didn't fancy looking >close enough to investigate. From what I could make out from the scene, looks like he was solo-ing on Mini Castle Crag and took a ground fall, broke left leg and ruptured femoral artery. Managed to crawl a little ways up the track before succumbing to blood loss.
