My two mates and I flying down from NSW for a one week climbing trip of a lifetime at Mt Arapiles arriving on Saturday 30 April but alas the weather forecast is rain for at least Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Is there anywhere to climb when it's wet at Arapiles or should we spend a couple of days climbing in the caves at the Grampians? We are flying down to Melbourne airport and picking up a car with the intention of heading west.
Any thoughts

It depends a bit on wind direction, but generally the Atridae should be dry. If the wind comes comes then east (rare) the your stuffed.
There are a few other places where most of the route would be dry but the top outs and the belayer might get wet, plus can't guarantee too much when it starts to seep. Bouldering at the torture chambers (some parts), fig pluckers and the play ground will be dry

Was out at Araps this last weekend, out of control. There's a family of kites nesting out on the traverse at the top of Orestes. Could be good to avoid the immediate area atm. Shame too, the flight deck is a great place to hole up and keep climbing when it's pouring.

Spent a few days on the back of the Pharos in the rain recently. Didn't even notice it had started to rain until i reached the belay on Shivers and turned around a few months ago. It's pretty cool sitting in that little nook watching it piss down. The lower stuff is all completely sheltered, but a few seeps develop. The start of Kingdom Come is probably the worst of them. Trojan was completely climbable last Thursday when the weather was abysmal. I wouldn't have left the house if I hadn't already agreed to help get a friend's gear out of it. Fortuneately, it was still warm.

I know that Mantis stays dry apart from the top move.
I reckon Virginia would probably be the same
