We visited the moon once in early november, I was shocked at how hot it was getting there already, Luckily I packed a reflective tarp and we stayed on the ledge. It was a bit crazy waiting for the crag to go into shade but by about 11am in NOV the whole thing (except great wall) was shade and it seemed the temperature stayed the same as soon as that happened. The bonus is the days are getting heaps longer, only trick is a reftective tarp and lots of tea till shade comes.
