Clark Canyon is a fun out of the way place to visit for a day or three. It should be nice that time of year. As someone else mentioned, it isn't limestone it is bubbly volcanic rock, a bit reminiscent of the Happys but taller. It is an adventure to find it and fun to get way out in the desert there. Be sure to check out the bouldering at the Bachar Boulders, just visible to the east from the June Lake junction on 395.
i was just recently staying in Provo for business for a few weeks so Rock Canyon became my evening haunt since it was so local. It was good for exploring, no good bouldering but a number of sport climbs, a few good looking trad lines. It is the kind of place that is brilliant if it is in your backyard but would be disappointing if you went out of your way to get there. Mountain Project has good info on the canyon.
I went and hiked in Maple Canyon, a unique and interesting chunk of geography/geology. No partner so i didn't climb at all but the routes looks absolutely brilliant. Go there.
