Google maps tells me from Byron to
Frog Buttress is 3 hours
Urbenville is 2.5 hours
Glenreagh is 3 hours
Does Mt Warning area have anything consumer friendly (as opposed to monster walk + monster route) ?
any other crags around there?

There is some very minor basalt trad climbing at South Burliegh Heads on the Gold Coast and some ok bouldering on the North Burliegh Heads (Nobbys Beach).

Frog or Glenreagh would be the places to go (Urbanville is pox, drive then extra 30mins). Or doughboy if you can get a tour.

If you end up going to Glenreagh keep in mind the locals climb at the 'gym' on Friday nights now, rather than Thursdays as the verticalmania website says.
That's if you want to chat to the locals and get some inside info on the good spots. :)
