we spent a week on phi phi and stayed at the casata which was very nice however you did have to run the gauntlet in the evening of the bars etc. Closer to the climbing is a resort called phi phi nice beach and another called sand sea view. both basic bungalow accom but away from the hustle and bustle and also near the best bit of beach. i loved the climbing at phi phi nothing hard just lots and lots of fun routes. we went there straight after lao liang and it was all a bit noisy and crazy until we got used to moving aside for crazy locals on push bikes. i can recommend the best tattooist if you fancy some new ink!
