Megaclassic jug hauling
Mild peril 23 111 m
…with jug references. Steep and juggy. All ubolts. Gets sun at 4pm. Start, 2 raps down Yesterday’s Groove descent (note, use the bolts out above the face on a small ledge, 5m right of the new obvious ones near the cave that are very hard to pull the rope down from) and walk right about 100m to a small right facing corner.
1)15m 20 Up corner, clip second bolt with screwgate, DUB.
2)51m 22 Up and head left, head inot cave at 30m, then more jugs. 20 or so Ubolts, use long draws, DUB.
3)20m 23 Out left, sling second U, and up. DUB on right.
4)25m 20 Up and leftwards to DUB. Walk left 70m and scramble up above Yesterday’s Groove

Thanks for all the bolting out there Mikl and others. That second pitch looks awesome - any chance of posting some more pics for an armchair climber like myself?

Nice! Does / will anything go up that nice looking orange buttress to the right?

Excellent stuff Mikl, sounds great!

Why sling the second U on p3?

to cut rope drag, but not super necessary.
The screwgate on pitch 1 2nd Ubolt is because there is a slight runout to good clipping jugs for the 3rd Ubolt.
Getting into the cave on pitch 2 is a laugh
