I am selling my Paddy Pallin Twynam Gore-Tex mountaineering sleeping bag to partly fund the purchase of a new Bosch drill. My wife won't let me buy one outright!

The bag is about 16 years old but is in excellent condition. It has been well cared for and always stored in a large pillowcase (not in a stuff bag). The bag was cleaned after its last use but there are a couple of small stains (hopefully sun cream) on the neck collar which didn't come out. Other than that, this bag is in great shape. Used on two Himalayan climbing expeditions (one to Nepal and one to India). It has not been used on any other trips. It was seam-sealed at the time and this seam seal is now peeling off. It was an expensive bag in its day. Designed for temperatures of around -15 to -20 degrees Celsius (very conservatively).

The bag weighs a total of 2.1kg.
It has 1000+gms of 90/10, high-quality, 700+ loft white goose down (the best available at the time).
(I have a feeling that I had an extra 100gms of down added to bag when it was ordered but cannot remember the details). The Gore-Tex fabric is 100% waterproof and breathable (of course the seams are not waterproof). Mummy-shaped, standard length bag. 3D Hood. Down-filled neck collar and draft tube. YKK high-quality right-hand coil zip.
