Personal view - so what if the guy is selling tents on here? It is in the right section. As long as 1) they are not duds/damaged/fakes or whatever and 2) he obtained them in a legal/ethical manner (ie he hasn't half inched them from somewhere, then I don't have an issue. People need tents/other gear and if he can get it for them cheaper than the expensive retail ops here then everyones a winner - thats capitalism for you. I get more frustrated that everything costs so much in Oz, The retail industry is asking for entrepreneurs to come and show them a better way. I would certainly prefer to see Australian businesses benefitting but like I say until this backward practice is resolved - its going to happen - see the other threads on Chockstone.

Personally I wouldn't buy one of Grizzlys tents as I get all my stuff overseas, I dont tend to trust second hand gear too much and I travel overseas quite a bit anyway. Having said that I did put in an order on CampSaver for a Hubba Hubba and they have since emailed back saying they don't ship any Cascade Designs / Black Diamond (and a few other brands) to Oz. I had spotted it in their small print on the international shipping page but I was hoping that they might over see this (as I had thought might have been the case for Strerror, but I'm now assuming you used one of those forwarding/rerouting services??). I'll now look at the forwarding service that was mentioned on one of the other threads, but I can see how all of this hastle would lead someone to take the quick, easy and (relative to Aussie prices) cheaper option of purchasing one of Grizzlys tent.

Grizzly - it does look highly suspect that you are selling so much gear here!!!
