Don't need an international license in Canada. You can drive on your Aus license for up to a certain number of months i think although no one checks. Also don't have to worry about roadworthy tests or anything, rego and insurance is piled into one bill, can pay monthly, cost us around $500 for 5 months rego and insurance....probably more expensive for us cause we were in a sledneck town...although beer and bud is ridiculously cheap especially in alberta....

local paper was hilarious when there was a hydro bust half way through the season, they worked out how many joints the bust would divide by for all residents including kids aged 16+....have to love Canadians
