The jacket is a bit big for me. will fit nicely over layers, warm when wet, ideal for NZ in summer or winter (I used it in NZ on a winter mountaineering trip and it was ace)

The Belay Jacket consists of a beefy layer of Primaloft® insulation paired with a weather-beating EPIC by Nextec® microfiber shell. This combination creates a windproof, breathable, weather-resistant and packable jacket. This lightweight water-resistant insulated jacket is just what the doctor ordered for cold long alpine routes. It is basically a doubled version of the well known Primaloft Jacket with an insulated hood, all of which is covered by an outer shell for protection in bad weather. The Belay Jacket will easily keep you warm and toasty in sub-zero temperatures when you're just standing around.
