answers to PM questions so far - - This model is 28oz (784gms), new model is 39oz (1092gms) The Gortex XCR is much lighter than the Gore-Tex® Respiration Positive™ laminate fabric + nylon floor) - It did come with poles but I threw them away, poles weigh +150gms - The weight of this bag is now just over 600gms - Flyscreen has been removed - good for the hills, not so good for the Kokoda trail. - Fabric is Gortex XCR with a different fabric for the bottom - It is has not been used on rough ground, only used in snow.
