the alpine bod isnt actually that easy to put on. Its hard to thread the buckle because it has some funky configuration and the tape is so fat that its pretty difficult to jam it through the buckles. i bought it for mountaineering then went back to my BD blizzard which i prefer. easy to thread. easy to put on and adjust for clothing. easy to take a poo (just unclip the elastics that hold up the leg loop and pull down your pants.
the alpine bod isnt even very light weight.
i also like the clipper thing that came with the BD blizzard.
