You can save a fortune by DOING IT YOURSELF! Fly to Kathmandu, then get $50 flight to Lukla, get yourself to Namche and start walking with the rest of the trekkers. He'll be charging around $2400 and if you sort yourself out in Thamel, the same trip will be around $1000. There again, you don't get to tell your mates you trekked with a guy thats been to the top of the world. Ahhh the price to pay for bragging!
