If you can find them... try La Sportiva Nepal Extremes.
They are great for technical climbing, work well for long approaches and have a removable tounge that offers extra warmth and a closer fit when needed.
I've used them on a few trips over in NZ, all long walk-in approaches and have been really happy with them. Never been too cold in them or had any blisters etc...
What ever you get, make sure you get them with plenty of room for your toes (i think the rule of thumb is usually a size bigger than regular shoes). |
