➢ DMM Vapour lightweight mountain axe ($110)
Only 440g and perfect as a backup tool on ski touring expeditions. T-rated pick and shaft is solid for rock and ice, but straight enough for walking with. New with tags (RP $160)

➢ Black Diamond Viper Ice axe ($150)
All-round ice tool for alpine climbing, steep ice and mixed terrain. Gets rave reviews for its quality and affordability. Used on for a week-long trip (RP $220)

➢ Set of 7 used cams ($150)
An affordable set for the starting trad climber. 7 cams of various ages covering BD sizes 0.2 to 2. From smallest to largest they are
