I have no problem with tat slings as abseil stations. Character, safety, security and after all is said and done - disposable.
Now veg damage and erosion is an issue, yes. But if the premise is that more abseil stations = less erosion then I differ and would like to hear your reasoning behind this. I would argue that increased convenience = increased number of climbers = increased erosion (cliff top, bottom or crag approach).

As a previous post said, show me the management plan (etc) Or how about apply to PV for a permit to place that desperatly needed bolt....
