I believe the history of Orpierre goes as follows: the mayor of the town needed something to bring tourism or business to his town. He read an article about Natimuk and its nearby climbing at Arapiles. He looked across the road at his rock resource and immediately commissioned teams of bolters to gridbolt the thing! |
