Help needend choosing between 2 ropes. |

definitely go for the 60m 10mm. No matter what climbing you are doing, this rope will be a winner (i use a 60m 10mm mammut galaxy- had 3 of them now). the differencein lifespan will not be noticeable. you will wear out the sheath on either rope just as quickly.
the 60m rope adds alot of versatility. 30m raps or lower offs. if you wear out some of your rope and need to cut of a frayed bit - you can cut some off and still (hopefully) have a 50m rope.
besides 50m ropes are in the dark ages.
