Correct breathing techniques are an advantage in climbing at your peak, while grunting should be left to the bedroom. But i have to say that i've been guilty of the ole grunting through afew power moves at me local bouldering area now and then, especially once when i was felling abit weak, i went the grunt to get me through, and then i heard a voice of some american chick teliing her friend " what type of animal is that, is it dangerous" and sadly being not an animal and/or dangerous, she was very disappointed and embarressed.
Ive also heard controlled breathing techniques can also increase tetosterone.
