i'm sorry, but there is no freakin way that somebody's head can have a lesser coefficient of friction than a smooth, flat & hard (relatively) plastic surface! and besides, if you're neck is so weak that it can't resist that angular acceleration then i would suggest that your head probably already rolled off your shoulders as you took off in the first place... the helmet protects against the initial impact. that's it. and that's all it needs to do.
