I was at the howqua bindaree hut area saturday and there where 8 cars parked at the camp area where the bridge is washed out (looks like for many years) at the foot of Helicopter spur . Presumable they were walking as either start of howitt spur, helicopter spur or road to bluff hut all giving nice weekend walks or long day walks . Bluff hut spur road had its closed sign pushed over and had been driven over there was a more detailed road closed notice on a star picket beside the road . It appeared a large number of vechiles were going to that "iconic old " craigs hut . there were some very large washout areas on the circuit road that had been repaired but it was closed after the Monument turnoff .
If I were the catleman putting cattle out in the park I would be worried about them dying from acute lead poisoning as there are quite radical people opposed to grazing . In the Barmah Forest it was fairly common for carcasses being found minus their hind quarters . 20 minutes with a trailer and hoist and 2 people would have the legs in the trailer and be off
