Having worked in a role of park road management, it is not appropriate to promote the condition of a closed road as this would encourage people to use it through "self assessment". Forest road assessment and repair is a lengthy and expensive process, and tracks are closed until assessed to be safe.
Red Rock road has several water crossings that may have been impacted by the rain event. when it is open the public will be notified. |
