But do they use the imperial system their gallon is small ,with china india and japan all left side of the road which is the dominate system ? one of the pacific nations recently swapped to rh drive from lh drive as bigger range and cheaper cars. some people still talk in mixed units eg water coming up the backyard a metre by only rising an inch ? when did a ream of paper become 500 and not the score of quires =480. when did the jewellery carat become 1/5 of a gram and not 1/24 of a troy ounce or about 1.25 gram. Why is an ounce of gold still heavier than an ounce of lead or feathers why do people still talk of calories instead of joules
