you totally missed my point.

i treat trad climbing with a more, id rather not fall approach. ill happily get on a 24 or even 25 and get spanked on it on rings, but im not gonna get on a bold 25 trad route and give it a go on lead.
37 is 37 and 29 is 29 but and 14 is 14 but i dont have the head to try and lead a 24 on trad. lots of people can and do that, maybe 1 day i will be able to.

i just wont climb above my limit on trad.. my personal preference. and if i am climbing above my limit and trying to "red point" a climb, its a damn lot easier on rings than carrots.
