National living treasure attacked! |

In years gone by interstate climbers would blew in the pub. Now, we let our animals do the dirty work...
Simon Mentz, national living treasure, was yesterday attacked by a vicious wedge tail eagle whilst on his first foray up the mighty Old Baldy in the Wolgan Valley. Poor Simey knew nothing of what was in store for him as he pondered the crux of Excalibur. As he tentatively moved into the crux the beast attacked. The ripped t-shirt and gauged claw marks up his back are evidence of the ferocity of the attack. He didn't fall though. Photos to follow.. |
